  • Coaching is collaborative and creative process between coach and client intended to address the client’s needs to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

  • When working with health professionals and trainees, this may focus on addressing challenges in the professional and practice environments, career advancement, and preparing for certification and licensing. However, goals can focus on non-professional aspects of life as well, such as protecting time for non-professional goals, creating professional boundaries, and balancing work and non-work priorities.

  • No. While therapy focuses on understanding and treating mental health related conditions, coaching focuses on the present and future goals to optimize your potential. Clients who need to look into past behaviors or have underlying behavior health diagnosis are encouraged to also work with a licensed counselor or therapist.

  • We honor the privacy of individual clients as much as possible, with few exceptions. As licensed health practitioners, EPC coaches are mandatory reporters and are required by law to report concerns abuse and/or neglect of children, elders, individuals with disabilities, or dependents. We will also report concerns for self-harm. For clients of sponsored coaching, we will share progress of clients towards specified outcomes as designated in the coaching agreement.

  • EPC has various coaching rates based on the type of client and focus of coaching. The hourly rate may range from $60 - $100 her 60-minute session, billed in 15-minute increments. The rate will be clearly stated in the coaching agreement.

  • Clients are expected to contact their coach more than 24 hours in advance of a scheduled session to cancel or reschedule an appointment without additional charges. Cancellations occurring within 24 hours of the appointment may result in a charge for a full session.

  • In addition to traditional coaching, EPC coaches can aid with professional writing, professional communication skills, CV development, and review/editing of professional correspondence.
